We started out like many other families out there.  Our son wanted a dog for Christmas.  He searched the internet and found a loveable black and tan little girl, Pippin.  Although she was not AKC registered, we immediately fell in love with her and the breed.

A year later we purchase our first Champion line male – Red Rock Kekoa – our Buddy.  We currently have one breeding sire, Sammy a tri.  We retired Buddy a black/tan.  We currently have four breeding dams (Kalia a black/tan, Kona a ruby, the daughter of Kalia and Buddy, Maili a black/tan and Kahu a ruby), all from AKC champion lines.  Leilani (female Blenheim) will be added when she reaches breeding age.   

Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies are born and raised in our homes in gorgeous Summerlin, Las Vegas.   They are handled and cuddled daily.  This is very important to their socialization skills.  They are even introduced to the swimming pool and are taught to respect it.  It doesn’t take long for them to figure out not to go near the water unless we are there.  We raise puppies that are very happy, loving, playful and self-assured.   We are not a large kennel, or puppy mill.  Our dogs are not locked in kennels, although they are crate trained and taught to use a doggy door.  The dogs live in our homes with us.  They are a part of our families.  

Our Cavalier puppies are bred for health and temperament first.  They come with a one year health guarantee against genetically caused diseases and/or death due to a genetically caused disease.  Our puppies come checked from birth by our veterinarian who is top in his field in Las Vegas.  All puppies have their dew claws removed shortly after birth.   

Pet puppies are sold with limited AKC registration (no breeding rights). Occasionally, we have potential show quality puppies available.   These are sold with full AKC registration.

Our dogs get regular health screenings to make sure they are healthy and free of inherited diseases.   We require a $100 refundable deposit to hold a puppy.  If a puppy is not spoken for when born, we start taking deposits at one week of age.  Puppies are available to their new owners after 8 weeks of age, but it does depend on the puppy.  If we determine that a puppy is not ready to leave its mother, we retain the right to keep it until it is.  We will not ship a puppy until it reaches at least 10 weeks of age.

The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is a very happy, loving, and easy going breed. They love being close to their owners and when we say close, we mean in your face close!   Our Buddy literally gives hugs.    

For us the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is the perfect breed.  That is not true for everyone!   Be sure to do all your research to find a breed that is right for you!  If you decide you are interested in a Red Rock Cavalier puppy, please e-mail us with information about you and your family, as well as the home you can provide for one of our puppies.  Red Rock Cavaliers are sold by telephone interview, if personal meetings are not possible.   Shipping is available at the buyers’ expense.  There are several options available that we can discuss with you.  (NOTE:  We live in Las Vegas, NV.  There are certain times of year when we cannot ship due to severe weather conditions.  During those times, we can drive the puppy to California to ship, again at buyers’ expense.)
