Welcome to Red Rock Cavaliers

Cavaliers have a very adaptable personality; they can go from jumping around in the yard playing with the children, to lazily gracing an adults lap in a moments notice.                                                                                                                                 

They like to be involved in the entire families business and love nothing better than to be with a person that they love. They are great with other dogs and especially gentle with young children and other animals. (Though they do enjoy an occasionally lively cat or bird chase for amusement!)

They should be watched with young children though, as they are so sweet and gentle that they won't defend themselves and they can easily be hurt by a young child that is too rough.

Because of their sociable personality, Cavaliers do not do well being left alone for very long periods of time or just being thrown outside as a yard dog. Some owners solve this problem by having at least 2 cavaliers. And once you have the joy of owning one, they become addictive! So the more the merrier!!
